One of the unhealthiest things you can do in life is not accepting yourself. Not loving who you, running around trying to be like everybody else and constantly seeking the approval of others. Allow yourself this space to grow, to improve, to become wiser.  Stop caring about how people perceive you. Some of them will like you and some of them won't
If you constantly change yourself for one person or group, another person or group may not like you, and this cycle will go on and on. You are only hurting yourself inside because you are constantly trying to be like others. You should focus on building up your talents and strengths. Being a people pleaser or always wanting everyone's love and respect is a totally pointless. You will never be happy until you love and accept YOU! Stop trying to fit in everywhere and do what pleases you. You will be amazed at the people who you draw near to you because they see that you are a confident person and you march to the beat of your own drum.
Develop and express your individuality. Whether it's your sense of style, or even your manner of speaking, whatever you do, be proud of it.  Not everyone is going to agree with your the choices you make. People will always find something to talk about.  That’s because they are afraid to embrace who they are and they think degrading, bullying, mocking and criticizing others will make them feel better about themselves, make them look cool and they are really seeking the approval from the “In Crowd” because they so desperately want to be accepted by a  certain group.  They believe that will make them happy when it will do the complete opposite. People pleasing is hard and exhausting job. Do you really want to spend all that time and energy doing what other people want you to. Take that energy strengthening your gifts and talents and see how much better you feel, and watch the people you attract. Real people, real friends, because they are accepting YOU for who you are and not what others tried to make you become. Keep it real with yourself and others will keep it real with you. They will accept you or not. Either way, you will feel much better being accepting and embracing who you are.
